GETTING STARTED

Our service consists of several components, which are available to you through email and from this website. The threat alerts are sent to you by email; you can customize your profile here. You can also view the latest alerts online. You can choose what level of alerts you would like to receive via email and related signature files from here on our website. High risk alerts will be sent to you by email. You can request vendor support escalations. On this website, you'll find other security reference and resource materials, including a threat database which you can use to search for threats. Please read below for more detailed information on the various components. At anytime, feel free to contact us with your questions.

THREAT AND UPDATE ALERTS

We will keep you updated through email and our website about new threats, and provide you with updates for your anti-virus software. Threat alerts provide detailed information such type of threat, date discovered, risk level, systems that could be affected, description of threat, and recommendations on how to avoid the threat until an update is available. Once an update is available you'll receive an Update (Signature) Alerts. There are several options for receiving alerts:

*All - High/Medium/Low
Receive all alerts by email with download links to updates
High/Medium only Receive only Medium to High Risk threats by email with a download link
In addition you can also check our website for the latest threat alerts  

*By default, you will receive the options highlighted in blue.

Configuring your settings
If you would like to change your options for virus and update alerts, or add/modify/remove contacts from your company, please visit our website to configure your email settings.

HIGH RISK ALERT NOTIFICATION (McAfee AVERT Labs alert notification) - The KTP service automatically registers your email address with AVERT Labs so in the event of a high or medium threat, McAfee's AVERT labs 24x7 service will send you a detailed alert. This service is complimentary to the detailed KTP threat alerts (which are available during regular business hours).

VENDOR SUPPORT ESCALATION
When you are not getting timely turnaround and response to your support requests, ISA can intervene. Escalate an issue to us through our website and we'll take care of making sure your support request gets more attention. Think of us as a support arm to your organization and escalate the following vendor issues to us.

  • Wait time to submit a support ticket is unreasonable
  • Turnaround time for support requests is unacceptable
  • Resolution to your support issue is unsatisfactory
  • We will contact the appropriate sales and support levels within the vendor organization, and will continue to press the issue until it is resolved. We will update you by phone or email about the status of your issue.
